Terms of Use

These terms apply to the SyncToHealth app and this website, published by the publisher of SyncToHealth (“we”, “us”). Contact: hello@synctohealth.com.

Your licence

SyncToHealth is licensed to you through the App Store under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). These terms add to the Standard EULA; if they conflict, the Standard EULA applies. You must be at least 16 years old to use SyncToHealth.

What SyncToHealth does

SyncToHealth imports FIT files you give it into Apple Health on your iPhone. It writes a value only when Apple Health has a faithful place for it, and shows a Receipt listing what was written and what was skipped. It works with FIT files from Garmin devices, but it is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Garmin Ltd. or its subsidiaries, or by Apple Inc.

Not a medical device

SyncToHealth moves data you already recorded. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it is not a medical device. Don’t rely on it, or on any data it imports, for medical decisions. Talk to a healthcare professional instead.

Your data and your files

You are responsible for the files you import and for having the right to use them. Workouts written to Apple Health belong to you and stay there unless you delete them, including if you get a refund or delete the app. How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Accuracy

We work hard to import every value faithfully, but the result can only be as accurate as the file your device recorded, and Apple Health or iOS may change how data is stored or shown. Check the Receipt for what was written.

Price and refunds

SyncToHealth is paid once on the App Store. There is no subscription and no in-app purchase. Payments and refunds are handled by Apple; see Apple’s refund guidance.

Updates

We may update SyncToHealth to fix problems, add features or keep it working with new versions of iOS. Some features described on this website, such as daily data, are planned for later updates and may change.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, SyncToHealth is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data outside Apple Health that results from using the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in its courts.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. If a change materially affects you, we will note it in the app’s release notes.

Trademarks

Garmin is a trademark of Garmin Ltd. or its subsidiaries. Apple, Apple Health, iPhone, AirDrop, Siri and Shortcuts are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries. These names are used only to describe compatibility.
